Hi, my name is Yihuan Wu, a Theatre Design and Live Performance student at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in May 2026.

I began my studies in Costume Design, where I developed a strong foundation in garment construction and character-focused design. In my second year, I transitioned into Theatre Design and Live Performance, expanding my practice into both set and costume design.

I am a multidisciplinary designer and maker, with experience in both designing and constructing costumes and stage environments. My work is driven by an interest in storytelling, exploring how visual elements can shape atmosphere, narrative, and audience experience.

I enjoy working across different materials and processes, and I am particularly interested in the relationship between body, space, and performance.
